Based on the popular anime series of the same name Saint Seiya: Chapter Sanctuary brings the legendary conflict between the Knights of Athena and the Knights of Ares home to the PlayStation 2. Battling over the Golden Cloth of Sagittarius, more than 20 different fighters square off against one another across several different modes including those of the Story, Versus, and Practice variety. As an added bonus, several of the show's most memorable moments have been recreated using the latest in CG cinematics as well, with licensed voice-overs specifically re-recorded for the videogame version of the story. The story of Saint Seiya, Knights of the Zodiac: The Sanctuary is faithful to the Gold Saint Saga episodes of the original anime TV series where Seiya the Pegasus Saint, Shiryu the Dragon Saint, Shun the Andromeda Saint, Hyoga the Cygnus Saint and Ikki the Phoenix Saint take on the task of protecting and helping the Goddess Athena destroy the 200 year Evil. Fans will be able to play as any one of the 17 characters in the game, including the 12 Knights of the Zodiac from the series, and do battle with challenging opponents through the 12 destructible battle stages, each aligned with a sign of the zodiac. Key to winning one-on-one fights is judicious burning of Cosmo energy, an element which is central to the Saint Seiya universe.

Ora aqui está um jogo que está muito bonito de se ver e já não tem aquele look de banda desenhada que os outros jogos da marvel tinham.

Um factor bastante positivo é que dá para destruir boa parte do que está no ecrã, para pegar em carros e lançar contra os inimigos (os personagens mais fortes), pegar em postes e dar com eles na cabeça dos oponentes.
